<image:caption>Isaac Azose Isaac Azose was born in Seattle, Washington. He spent his early years attending Sephardic Bikur Holim synagogue, drinking in every little word and nuance of the prayers from the cantors who had immigrated from Turkey, thus enabling him to become Hazzan (Cantor) at Congregation Ezra Bessaroth in March 1966 for thirty-four years, retiring on January 1, 2000. In addition to his duties at Ezra Bessaroth, he held down a full-time job at Boeing, retiring in July 1995. His retirement from Boeing allowed him more time for other things, including producing a Sephardic Daily/Sabbath prayer book for the Seattle Sephardic community. That project took eight years and was completed in March 2002. Since then, he has completed a prayer book for the three Jewish Festivals, one for the Five Fast Days, one for the Jewish New Year, and one for the Day of Atonement. In 1999 he recorded a two-CD set, The Liturgy of Ezra Bessaroth, which gives a representation of the Sabbath, Holiday, and High Holiday liturgy. In 2012 he recorded a two-CD set of Ladino Romansas, called Ladino Reflections.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Estee Solomon Gray Back in 2011, Estee instantly said yes to helping create Limmud Bay Area (LBA) as a second Limmud on the West Coast and was a part of LBA leadership through 2018. Since arriving in the Bay Area in 1980, Estee has found herself interweaving at least three career stands - technology, entrepreneurship, and Jewish community building. She worked closely with the legendary Regis McKenna to lay the foundation for the distinct practices required to market technology products, was co-author of the now classic article “The People are the Company” with which Fast Company magazine launched in 1995, pioneered the live e-learning market in the days of Web 2.0, helped numerous companies and nonprofits reorient themselves as networks-of-networks and relationally driven enterprises. Mom to two Millennial sons and the bearer of both American Jewish and Israeli identities, Estee played key roles in the emergence and evolution of the Palo Alto JCC, the Mid-Peninsula Jewish Community Day School (now Hausner), Hillel at Stanford, The Mussar Institute, Ameinu and the Yedidya Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She is currently a Senior Fellow of the Institute for the Next Jewish Future - best known for its podcast Judaism Unbound - and at work on a book about multiminding - the way we as social animals (and Jews!) attend to the business of our lives by simultaneously living out and interweaving multiple identities, roles, and commitments.</image:caption>
